  1. How To Set Up Your Adapter

      Contact the security company and request that your system be placed in "Test Mode."

      Find a location near your security system wall box, but away from any electronic device that may cause signal interference.

      Thread antenna base collar ring into the anenna, rotating the ring manually until it is tight to the touch.

      Point the antenna straight up.

      Insert the AC power supply connector into the port on the adapter

      Plug the AC Power Supply into a wall outlet.

      Verify signal strength by looking at the bars or lights that are lit up on the adapter.

      Insert one end of the phone cord in the phone jack of your home security system's wall unit.

Tips & Warnings

  • Be sure to test your installation to make sure it was successful. Simply press the panic button on your keypad and do not disarm it with your code until enough time has passed for your security company to be notified. If all was installed correctly, you should receive a call to your cell phone shortly.

  • If you do not initialize your home security system the cell phone adapter will not work. To initialize your system simply press your panic button and let the alarm go off for ten seconds. You will then need to disarm your system. Follow your adapter's instruction manual to determine which sequence of lights indicates proper initialization.
