Step 1
Use a personal journal to write in.You need to have a plan. What is it that you want to accomplish? Then you'll need to start a journal for your new goal. I'll use horses as my example for this. I've used this when helping others learn to ride, but it can be replaced with anything that you want to accomplish. For example, if you want to learn to ride a horse, write the goal down in your notebook. By writing it down, it clarifies the goal and helps to make it real.
-
Step 2
Get a calendar to set your goals. Then set a certain time frame. I want to learn to ride a horse within 6 months. Write this down in your journal.
-
Step 3
This is my signifigant other learning to ride on the farm. Then, write down your plan to learn to ride...I will take lessons once a week, and practice for one hour a day.
-
Step 4
Read your goals out loud for every day. This actually implants the idea in your brain. Repetition of your goal on a daily basis will help you accomplish the goal.
-
Step 5
Actually visualize what your goal is. Sit on a comfortable couch or chair. Make sure the room is quiet with no distractions. Close your eyes & visualize riding your horse. Feel the happiness you feel as you achieve your goal in your visualisation.
