How to Rent a Stair Lift
Getting up and down stairs is a very difficult task for some people. However, with a stair lift, a person can simply sit in a chair and ride his way to the top. Originally created to help victims of polio, stair lifts are now available to accident victims, senior citizens, paraplegics and others with mobility problems. Finding and renting a stair lift in your area can be easy once you know where to find a retailer. Here are some tips for renting a stair lift.

Tips & Warnings
Read over the contract carefully before you decide to rent a stair lift from a dealer or company. All dealers have their own rules and regulations concerning maintenance, fees, installation and broken or malfunctioning stair lifts. Always test a stair lift before you rent it. Some stair lifts can be uncomfortable or difficult to use. You want to know that you can use the stair lift and that you like it before you pay to rent it. Contact your insurance company when renting a stair lift. The expense may actually be fully or partly covered by your particular company.
