How to Make Theme Baskets for Gifts

Making theme baskets takes two things. A basket and creativity. You will learn in this easy to follow article how to make a theme basket. I will give you several ideas for making that special basket for a friend or loved one.

Things You'll Need:

• Basket
• Items for your theme
• Clear heat shrink plastic
• Ribbon of choice

1. First you will need to find a basket big enough to hold all your items in your theme.

2. First you will need to arrange your items in your basket from smallest to largest. I would start with the big items first. Some examples of basket inserts could be popcorn, a movie ticket, a gift card for a movie rental, maybe a DVD you picked up and some goobers or other candy of choice if your going for the movie theme. I like to add candles if your going for the scary movie theme. I would start with the DVD and popcorn in the back, them move forward to the candy then on with the candles and maybe in the front you would put the ticket or gift card.

3. After you have all your inserts in the basket take the clear plastic wrap, (make sure its big enough to wrap around your basket with some room left over to tie your ribbon at the top). Lay your plastic wrap flat put your basket in the center of the wrap then draw each end up to meet at the top.

4. Next you will want to tie a ribbon at the top of the basket in the plastic wrap. And poof you have a Movie themed basket!! Enjoy!
