How to Unlock the Piggyback Ride Achievement in Call of Duty 4
The Xbox 360 war game Call of Duty 4 offers a realistic and incredibly difficult simulation of modern-day military combat. In the course of the game, there are several secret achievements you can unlock to earn extra Microsoft gamer points. To unlock the Piggyback Ride achievement, you will have to carry an injured soldier through a battlefield to a safe zone.

Play through the game until the mission called "One Shot One Kill." Set up your sniper rifle on top of the apartment building where the mission begins. Fire on your target when he gets out of his Jeep. Wait a moment for a helicopter to show up, then shoot the pilot through the window. Put away your rifle and run over to the southeast end of the area.

Climb down the rope that is tied to the wall to escape the apartment building. Then follow Captain MacMillian as he runs towards the extraction point. Wait for a short cut-scene to occur in which another helicopter crashes and injures MacMillian. Walk over to him and press the "X" button on your controller to sling him over your shoulder. Run to the left toward the alley, then throw a grenade to kill the soldiers who will run at you.

Proceed through the alley into the next apartment building. Go into the area that contains an empty swimming pool, then put MacMillian down. Switch back to your sniper rifle and aim into the pool to shoot at the rabid dogs so they cannot charge at you when you walk over to the other side. Grab MacMillian again and walk to the north.

Jump over the broken segment of wall and run through the brush toward the broken-down vehicles.

Stay crouched so you don't attract the attention of any roaming soldiers. Set down MacMillian next to the Ferris Wheel to unlock the Piggyback Ride achievement.

Tips & Warnings
If you are surrounded by soldiers, just set MacMillian down, take cover and fire on them until you again have a clear path.
If you don't shoot the dogs in the pool, they will scatter in different directions and attack you several times as you make your way through the brush toward the Ferris Wheel.
