You caved and got yourself a facebook account and now you recognize the signs that it may have become like a drug that you can not live without, you feel sick if you cannot have access to a computer and internet. The good news is admitting you have a dependency and that it is very curable.

Difficulty: Moderately Challenging
Instructions

Things You'll Need:

  • Facebook account
  1. Step 1

First thing to do is delete all the people that you do not know in real life, so your friend list may drastically drop from 300 to 30.

  2. Step 2

Delete half of the groups you joined, especially if you do not participate in them.

  3. Step 3

Stop adding pictures and tagging people

  4. Step 4

Stop taking quizzes and adding new applications, and ignore friend requests as well as the "gifts" that come from them

  5. Step 5

Start by accessing your profile only twice a day (in the mornings and in the evenings), then only once a day, and eventually once every two days.

  6. Step 6

    Take off your profile picture.

  7. Step 7

The only thing your profile should say is "I am trying to cure my Facebook dependency"
