Things You'll Need:
- corn meal
- 2 egg
- 2 cup of milk
- 1/4 cup of oil
- celery
- green pepper
- 1/2 stick of butter
- 1/2 onion
- turkey broth or canned turkey broth preferably real turkey stock
-
Step 1
Make sure your cornbread is done.Never, never, never use jiffy mix unless you want a sweet stuffing. Start out with a small can of corn meal mix add 2 eggs 1 cup of milk and 1/4 cup of oil mix all together and bake on 375 for about 20-25 minutes. Make sure it's done even if it's a little brown in spots you rather in well done at this point than raw.
-
Step 2
Mix IngredientsCut done cornbread up in squares. Spread them out on a flat cookie sheet and bake for an additional 10-15 minutes. You want your cornbread crisp so it won't dissolve in the other ingredients. Cut up 2 stalks of celery in small pieces. Cut onion and green pepper up the same. Put cornbread in large bowl add 1 cup of milk, 2 eggs, 2 cups of turkey stock, celery, onion and green pepper to bowl mix together. It's easier to mix together with your hands rather than a spoon.
-
Step 3
BakeButter large casserole dish. Place stuffing in dish and bake on 375 for about 45-55 minutes until it develops a crust. Enjoy
