Evaluate your goals for the website. It is necessary to plan out your site before creating any designs because the content and purpose of the page will inform the design. Browse websites for inspiration. For example, you may want to have a blog, links and an "About Me" section as the basic content.

Create the file for your website. Open Microsoft FrontPage and click ctrl+N. A pop-up will open where you can select the template you want for the site. There are several templates to choose from, including pages with tables, divisions, etc. Select a template and save the file as index.html. This will be the main file you will be working on.

Start coding your website. There are three components to a FrontPage file. At the bottom of the file, you will notice three tabs---Normal, HTML and Preview. When you click these tabs, you will be brought to respective windows. Normal means that you are viewing your site in the What You See is What You Get mode. HTML shows you the code behind the website and Preview shows you what the site will look like on a web browser. You may get knowledge from web design books on how to code.

Insert additional components to make you site more functional. Click Insert on the menu and select a file you want to include in your website. This may be a picture, a video or an embedded program. Work this addition into your website to make it easier for your readers to browse through your site.

Upload your files online. This step will bring your webpage online, available for readers and viewers to see. To upload files, you need a file transfer program that will facilitate in transferring your desktop file to the Internet. Open the program and connect to your web domain. Locate the FrontPage file and upload other files that will go with the site such as pictures, music or applications. After uploading successfully, you may visit your site online.

Could you show me or explain how to change the Menu Bar at the Left side of a FrontPage layout and also at the bottom. By change, I am referring to changing the font size, color and perhaps enhancing the overall look of a simple button?
