Things You'll Need:
- Hunting rifle
-
Step 1
Look for signs of attacks. Chupacabras are notorious for animal mutilation; completely draining livestock of their blood.
-
Step 2
Use live bait. Goats, sheep, or lambs make for perfect prey. Leave such an animal tied up to a post in the middle of a field. If you can, spill some animal blood in the vicinity. Chupacabras have an excellent sense of smell for plasma.
-
Step 3
Hide well and hide your scent. If possible, find a tree to climb or bushes to hide behind while you wait. Use grass and dirt to cover yourself in order to mask your scent.
-
Step 4
Shoot for the eyes. Chupacabras can have tough hides, so aim for the eyes. One or two good shots will put the creature down. Before completely approaching, put another shot in the head for safety.
-
Step 5
Remove body quickly. Take the dead chupacabra away as soon as possible. They are often pack hunters and can detect wounded members far away.
