Step 1
Second hand is a money saverHIT THE THRIFT STORES. Despite what some may think, the thrift store these days is very smart way to shop. You will more often then none find name brand clothes at an extremely affordable price. With the twins being young and mine are 11 months old, they are growing like weeds these days. It doesn't make a lot of sense to spend so much money on things they will outgrow in just a few months and sometimes within a few weeks.

Step 2
Buy on sale now, save later.BUY IT NOW, WEAR IT LATER. Many times if I catch items on sale although my twins may not be able to fit it yet, I buy it anyway. Before I know it, they have grown into it and I am always glad that I purchased it at the sale price.

Step 3
Trade clothes with friends.CLOTHES SWAP. If you have friends that have children that are a few years older or younger, form a "clothes swap" group where you all pass each other's baby clothes around to each other. This can be very helpful and a very big money saver.

Step 4
Buy unisex.TWO CAN WEAR IT. If you have boy/girl twins like I do, try purchasing some items that they can share like onesies and socks. If you're not bent on them always dressing alike you can also purchase unisex outfits that they can take turns wearing. For example, I have shirts and bottoms they share. Of course not on the same day :-)
