By now, everyone knows about Black Friday and the rush to purchase items at special prices. The hype, the crowds and the frustration. But are they really special prices and once a year offers? By avoiding Black Friday rush, there can be some significant advantages to your shopping. How to avoid Black Friday rush will open up a whole new world of savings and shopping opportunities.

  1. Step 1

    Do not be tempted to purchase or read the newspaper on Thanksgiving Day. It is loaded with store fliers all out to get you to their stores.

  2. Step 2

    Plan another type of outing for Friday. Visit with family or friends or enjoy a trip to the zoo. Kids will especially love this.

  3. Step 3

    Remember that as we get closer to Christmas, the stores will be having the same type of sales but without the crowds and rush.

  4. Step 4

    If you feel like you are missing something, plan to shop Cyber Monday on the internet. Quite possibly, you will be able to find better deals and not stand in line.

  5. Step 5

    If you are looking for electronics, the best deals are out there right before the Super Bowl and the Super Bowl is not that far off in time.

    Make a list of all the things accomplished by avoiding Black Friday rush such as saved money, avoided unnecessary purchases, saved gas, didn't catch the flu, didn't get aggravated, didn't have to get up early, didn't lose your kids and a whole lot more.
