How to Perfect The Nude Lip
Thanks to Angelina Jolie and high-fashion runways, Twiggy's nude lip is back in a big way. Though this look isn't for everyone, and should be avoided by those of us who are pale, it can be perfected for those who have the skin tone (and the confidence) to give it a try. Though perfectly paired with a smokey eye, try it with rich neutrals for an exotic day look. Does this Spark an idea?
Things You'll Need

1
Gently exfoliate lips with a toothbrush and Vaseline, for 20 to 30 seconds. Immediately follow with a moisturizing lip balm to keep lips moist and chap-free.
-
2
Next, apply a small amount of lip plumper. If you've never used one, understand that these plumpers are very temporary and require reapplication. Also, lip plumpers can be uncomfortable as they do tingle and slightly burn upon application. This usually subsides after a few seconds.

Line and fill the lips with a nude lip pencil that matches your skin tone, not your natural lip tone. Do not over-line or you will end up with a Pamela Anderson look.
** Keep in mind that if you are very pale, this may not be the look for you; the result will more resemble Dracula than Angelina. -
4
Using a lip brush, apply a matte flesh-tone lipstick. The lip brush helps to provide a more natural, smooth finish.
-
5
Blot the lips with tissue and reapply.
