Difficulty: Easy
Instructions

  • Metric socket set

When oil is drained you are ready to remove that plate with the 6 bolts and the screen you'll see underneath.

  4. Step 4

Scrape any old gasket off plate and motor block.

  5. Step 5

Replace screen with new one or old one cleaned thorougly with ether. Then replace gasket, plate, and plug insuring they are tight(be sure not to lose copper washer on drain plug.

  6. Step 6

Let car back down to ground and remove oil filler cap and dipstick. Fill with 2-1/2 Qrts and check to see if full. If not add a little at a time until stick reads full.

  7. Step 7

Clean youself up and be sure to take oil to parts store for recycling and you are done...

Tips & Warnings
  • Castrol 20/50 is a suggestion only.
  • New screen does not cost much so that would be recommended.
  • All materials and recycling for oil should be found at your local auto parts store
  • Use jack stands
  • Recycle your oil because most local laws ban putting in garbage
