How to Decorate a Thanksgiving Buffet
For anyone having a buffet-style Thanksgiving, don't forget to decorate your buffet. The table and home is decorated, so why not the buffet? Food can actually be part of the décor. The decorations you've used around the rest of your home can be used to decorate your buffet table. By decorating, your buffet will look more inviting. The decorations can be as simple or elaborate as you want. However, less is sometimes more. Remember, guests should be able to easily reach food without knocking over your decorations. - Artificial leaves and flowers Decorative dishes for your food Table runner or banner Cornucopia -- create your own or purchase Small ceramic or plastic Thanksgiving figurines (optional)

Place empty dishes on the buffet to judge where other décor should go.

Use a table runner either on top of your buffet or along the front. Use a runner with fall colors or a Thanksgiving theme.

Place a small to medium cornucopia in the center of the buffet. You can place real or artificial fruits and vegetables inside.

Tips & Warnings
You can create a banner instead of using a table runner, especially if the runner is too long for your buffet. You can also place a flower arrangement in the center instead of a cornucopia.
