How to make Holiday Cranberry Cake

if you love cranberry sauce you will love this cake it's good to make during the Thanksgiving and Christmas holiday dinners
it has a nice taste and it is moist and soft like pound cake with a simple icing just using orange juice and sugar hope you Enjoy!!

Instructions

Things You'll Need:

  • 2 1/2 cup flour
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1 teaspoon baking powder
  • 1 teaspoon baking soda
  • l cup sugar
  • l cup chopped dates
  • l cup wole cranberries
  • l cup chopped pecans
  • 2 eggs
  • l cup buttermilk
  • 3/4 cup oil
  • 1/2 cup sugar
  • 1/2 cup orange juice
  1. Step 1

    Sift first 5 ingredients into bowl that is , Stir in dates, cranberries and pecans; mix in well.

  2. Step 2

    Place eggs, buttermilk and oil in well; mix well. Pour into ungreased tube pan.

  3. Step 3

    Bake at 325 degrees for 1 hour or untill well done stick a toothpick to see if it comes out dry ( that means it's done )is so continue . Mix 1/2 cup sugar with orange juice mix well. This is your icing for your cake

  4. Step 4

    Pour over hot cake in pan it is going to set nicely on the cake when it cools. Cool completely before removing from pan. Thats it Enjoy!!
