In order to show off your abs you must remove the layer of fat that is hiding your abdominal muscles. You must add cardiovascular activities to your workouts. You must also change your diet and reduce the amount of calories you are taking in at your meals.
In other words do more cardio and reduce calories. -

Reduce Calories.
To reduce calories you must change what you are eating. Read the labels of the foods you are eating. Choose low calorie products. You should plan to eat five to seven small meals a day. You should eat no more than what you can fit into the palm of your hand at each meal. -

Eat.

Drink plenty of water.
You should drink at least 8 glasses of water a day if you are working out. Keep your muscles hydrated and you will speed up your metabolism thus burning more calories. Water also flushes out toxins in you body and you will feel better. -

Add cardio to your workout routine.
It is possible to get six pack abs just by reducing the calories in your diet but it will take a very long time. You will need to do at least 20 minutes of cardio 3 times a week, everyday is ideal. Cardio will speed up the process of weight loss by burning many calories quickly. -

Workout in the morning.
Working out in the morning is a great way to lose weight. You will actually keep burning calories hours after you have stopped working out. Also when you workout in the morning you will feel energized all day. -

Plan your meals.
Without a plan you will fail. Make a grocery list every week. Remember to choose low calorie foods. Take one day of the week to prepare all of your meals. I usually make all of my meals on Sunday.
