Difficulty: Moderate
Instructions

Things You'll Need:

  • Anxiety
  • Open Mind
  1. Step 1

Navigate in your head until you find a memory that puts a smile on your face, focus on that memory until you are overwhelmed with the good feeling sensation it brings to you. This pre-performance exercise will give you a "feel good aura" that your audience will pick up, you want that.

  2. Step 2

Play pretend, visualize in your mind how you want your performance go, from start to finish. Try and imagine at least three different performances, the more the better. This exercise is a confidence booster, by pounding your mind with success performance's you will be far more likely to have the performance you desire, and that your audience desires.

  3. Step 3

Your audience are your best friends, Don't let your mind play games with you and try and disagree. They all love you and want you make there day/night and they will cooperate 100% with you as long as you give them what they want, a good time. This mentality is very important, it will increase your "coolness" and allow you to be impromptu, while at the same time eliminating your "robotic" performance. Would you rather perform a magic to your friends, or to complete strangers?

Tips & Warnings
  • Practice these techniques daily, intentionally until it becomes automatic for you.
  • Each technique is specifically designed to help in a certain area's of performance, do not favorite over others, treat all techniques equally.
