  1. Step 1

When your hungry you want to have the advantage of fixing something fast. This is a simple cooking technique and easy recipe for frying a nice fluffy omelet. Be sure to have the ingredients and utensils which are listed to facilitate a smooth production.

  2. Step 2

Preparation of your ingredients are essential prior to attempting to start your cooking. Dice all produce that you want to include in your omelet before you start to heat your frying pan. Once you have completed the task of dicing you will need to deal with the eggs and milk in the mixing bowel. Each large egg that is to be used will need one teaspoon of whole milk. To make the omelet fluffy and tasty it is best to use three eggs and three teaspoons of milk. Then you will fold the mixture together with a whisk for 30 seconds to achieve a scrambled mix. When you have taken care of the egg mixture you may add a dash of salt to add more flavor. At this point you can start to heat the vegetable oil. The layer of oil should barely cover the bottom of the pan. Be sure that the flame is at medium level and that the oil is hot enough before you start to cook your fluffy omelet.

  3. Step 3

Pour the egg mixture into the frying pan and allow it to take up the entire pan bottom. Once your egg mixture is to the point that it appears to be nearly done with some uncooked mixture showing on the top portion of the omelet surface you will add your choice of ingredients carefully so as not to disturb the bottom portion of your fluffy omelet. When all your tasty chosen ingredients including onion, cheese and meat have been added, the omelet will take on a more cooked appearance and at this time it needs to be folded in half with the spatula to finish your omelet. The half folded breakfast will be easy to slide onto the plate but be careful to avoid the hot oil which may cause burns. Be sure to have the oven mitts handy while using the frying pan so that you will be less likely to have a burn injury. While on you plate you may sprinkle shredded cheese and Picante sauce on the top on your fluffy omelet for added flavor and presentation. The process from preparation to serving time should be less than 10 minutes. When the cheese is placed on the top of your omelet you can use a microwave for 10 seconds to melt it. Use additional flavoring like salt, pepper, chives and onions for toppings as you wish. Now you have a great fluffy and tasty omelet to enjoy.

Tips & Warnings
  • Be sure to prepare the additional ingredients prior to heating the stove top burner. Also, always use an oven mitt to protect you from burns. Handle the frying pan with great care as hot oil will burn rapidly. Using a spatula to fold the omelet in half can prevent splashing of the hot oil or accidental spillage from the pan.
  • Hot oil burns rapidly and can be severe. Be sure to use protective mitts.
  • Be careful when using the spatula to fold the omelet as this process may splash hot oil or your mixture.
