Instructions

Things You'll Need:

  • Sharpie
  • Autograph Item
  1. Step 1

First thing you need to do when seeking autographs is be prepared. Have a good writing Sharpie. You also want to have the item you want autographed ready at all times for easy access.

  2. Step 2

When asking for an autograph you want to be nice, friendly, and polite. You won't get many autographs being rude.

  3. Step 3

During the month of February when the Mets have their workouts is an excellent time to get those signatures. Fans are allowed near the workout fields and the players are very accessible to the fans when they walk between fields or to the locker room.

  4. Step 4

Another good place to get autographs is outside of the players' parking lot. The parking lot is located on the west side of Tradition Field. Here you can catch the players before or after practice or a game. Keep in mind you can't get in the lot, but you can stand outside the fence.
