1. Visit your local Ulta store or go online and register for the Ulta Rewards Program. You will earn points with every purchase either online or in the store. Keep your Ulta Rewards card with you at all times.

2. Shop for cosmetics and beauty products at Ulta. Ulta's every day prices are comparable to WalMart, and sometimes beat Target's prices. They accept both manufacturer's coupons and online (printable coupons) for further savings. If you are going to buy these products anyway, why not buy them from a store that is going to give you a reward for your business?

3. Watch for Ulta email alerts. If you have signed up for the rewards program, you will receive a weekly email that usually contains a coupon for either 20% off a single item, or $3.50 off a $10 purchase. Print out the coupon and keep it with you.

4. Watch for Ulta sales on products that you will use. Ulta carries major national brands like Neutrogena, L'Oreal, Aveeno, and Revlon. Read the Sunday circular to learn about the weekly deals. Avoid buying items you won't need just because they are on sale.
