Many people think "Get Paid To" sites are great for earning a little extra money. These people usually fail to fully take advantage of the site's true earning potential. By no means can you make a full-time income from GPT sites, but there are ways to increase the amount of money you make. Instead of bringing in an extra $20 a month, you could earn $100. It all depends on how much times you have and if you follow these steps.

Difficulty: Moderately Easy
Instructions
  1. Step 1

Sign up at more than one site. It makes sense to start out slow, but once you know how GPT sites work you can begin to take advantage of additional sites. This can greatly increase your income. Many site owners will have different offers. Instead of being able to take advantage of a handful of offers, you can complete several hundred each month.

  2. Step 2

Make sure your browser is set to accept cookies. You need to be able to accept cookies so the company and GPT site knows you've completed the offer. Many GPT sites also recommend clearing your cookies after completing an offer.

  3. Step 3

Enter accurate information when completing offers. If you enter a fake email address or phone number, you may not get credit for that offer. Many people hardly ever use their landline phone so that shouldn't be a problem. If you don't like giving out your email address though, you can always setup an email address specifically for your GPT sites.

  4. Step 4

Take advantage of trials and memberships you'll actually use. Trial programs and memberships are the highest paying offers. The only problem is that you're wasting money if you don't need these offers. For example, don't sign up for a book club if you have little time to read. On the other hand, if you've considered renting DVDs online, it only makes sense to sign up through a GPT site.

  5. Step 5

Pay attention to promotions. Many GPT site owners run monthly promotions that allow you to increase your income. This may be through contests or games. Some even offer wonderful prizes, such as MP3 players and gift cards.

Tips & Warnings
  • If you do sign up for trial programs, always make sure to cancel the trial before your credit card is charged.
  • Never complete an offer twice, even if it's offered at more than one site. Don't dismiss sites they pay you with points. Points can be traded for gift cards and other great prizes.
