Skincare is important, especially as you get older. Stick to a regimen that cleans, exfoliates, and moisturizes your face.

Difficulty: Easy
Instructions

Things You'll Need:

  • Cleanser
  • Exfoliator(scrub)
  • Moisturizer
  • Water
  • mask
  • good diet
  1. Step 1

Get a facial cleanser conducive to your skin type. If your skin is oily, get a cleanser that controls oil. If it's dry, get a creamy cleanser with oil. Then get a good moistuzizer also conducive to your skin type.

  2. Step 2

Twice a week, use an exfoliating scrub. This just means a cleanser with small beads in it to slough away dirt and pore-clogging oils. You can make some yourself too. Mix 1/4 cup of brown sugar with a couple teaspoons of milk and massage it into your face.

  3. Step 3

Once a week use a firming clay mask. I suggest mineral clay, which is blue and smells minty. Let it dry thoroughly, so your face is very tight, then rinse off with lukewarm water. A green colored mask will deep clean your skin, but won't firm your skin like the mineral clay.

  4. Step 4

Drink 8-10 glasses of water a day. This will flush debris from your body giving you glowy skin all over!

  5. Step 5

Eat beta-carotene, found in all vegetables orange. It will give your skin a nice, smooth texture. Also, try brown rice.

Don't drink or eat so much sugar, or simple carbs.

  6. Step 6

Always relax and try not to stress. Stress is bad. It ages you faster.

Tips & Warnings
  • A good exfoliating scrub is Origins Never a Dull Moment($25, origins.com), and St. Ives Apricot scrub($7-12, drugstores).
  • A good mask is St. Ives Mineral Clay Swiss mask($7-12 drugstores)
  • Do a cleanser/moisturizer ritual every night with warm water.
  • You don't need to do your regimen every morning; chances are your skin is still clean from the night before.
