Patch picture holes in your Wall with Colgate Toothpaste

Have you recently sold your home or were renting a space and you are moving out soon? If so you probably need those small holes left from removing your pictures patched before the new owner/tenant moves in. This article will help you get that done so you can be on your way out the door.

Difficulty: Easy
Instructions

Things You'll Need:

  • Original Colgate Toothpaste, damp sponge
  1. Step 1

Remove your pictures from the walls.

  2. Step 2

Put a small amount of toothpaste on your finger and force it into the small hole on the wall, filling the hole.

  3. Step 3

Wipe away any excess toothpaste from around the hole with your slightly damp sponge. Gently wiping over the hole will not affect the toothpaste.

  4. Step 4

After removing the excess toothpaste from the wall, allow the toothpaste to dry in the hole.

  5. Step 5

If you have dark colored walls, you can just paint over the patched hole. In most cases, if your walls are light colored, no painting is necessary because the area is not noticeable when patched.
