Pick a Maid of Honor
Pick a Maid of Honor

The wedding is near and you need to pick a maid of honor. This is the most important day of your life and it should be shared with someone very special to you.

Difficulty: Moderate
Instructions
  1. Step 1

Your maid of honor is usually your best friend. Someone who knows you very well and is happy to provide her service for you at this time. She is usually a childhood friend or someone you have know for a very long time.

  2. Step 2

There are ways of choosing a maid of honor. Look for the person that mimics you as a women or a sister. Someone who you have told your deepest secrets to without being judged. Someone who has been there to support any life decisions you have made. A person who has been there to cry with and laugh. A person you can truly call a friend.

  3. Step 3

A maid of honor can also be a relative. If you are not close to anyone outside your family, you can choose a sister who you feel close to. After all, a sister is also a friend. Think about all those late nights the two of you would sneak out to meet boys or stay up all night crying over boyfriends. This is a special day for you, make sure the person that stands by your side has been there through the good and bad times in your life. Go by your instincts, they never lie. If you get caught between two friends, think about which one you knew longer or the one who you have trusted the most with your most intimate secrets. This person will feel right to choose, and she will be standing by your side holding your flowers and smiling.
