Layout both nerf bars and all hardware. Determine left and right side.

  2. Step 2

Lay the webbing on top of the nerfs to make sure of proper placement.

  3. Step 3

Install the webbing. Thread the strap through the top and go straight through and come out the bottom. Now loop the strap through the middle slot and come out the top, on the bottom side of the starter strap. Start all of the straps then go back around to get your desired tightness.

  4. Step 4

Here is a set of finished nerf bars.

  5. Step 5

Now we can mount the nerf bars to your atv. Start by removing the front mounting bolt (lower front motor mount bolt). Next start mounting the nerf bars. Attach the supplied mounting bolt with spacers through the front tab on the nerf bar to the lower motor mount. DO NOT TIGHTEN yet. Repeat for other side.

  6. Step 6

With the front loosely attached to the quad lift the back up to the foot peg and install the bolts with nut and washers.

  7. Step 7

With both sides loosely installed and everything lined up you can now tighten everything down.

Tips & Warnings
  • You may want to use loctite on the bolts for extra security. Also it is best to check all bolts before every ride to make sure they are still tight.
  • When installed properly nerf bars can help keep your feet off the ground and keep you away from injuries. If your foot was to slip off the footpeg the netting should catch it before the ground and help you finish your ride how you started it. Walking.
