Step 1
The grocery store. Larger grocery stores like Publix and Kroger usually have free coffee for their customers.
-
Step 2
Members clubs. Sams, Costco, and BJs usually have a free coffee area for their members. Especially on Saturday mornings.
-
Step 3
Your local bank. Banks will often have free coffee and cookies or donuts for their customers.
-
Step 4
The auto-repair or oil change shop. Most have a waiting area with coffee for the patrons.
-
Step 5
Your hairdresser. They always have it in the back. Just ask.
-
Step 6
Hang out at Starbucks, Caribou Coffee, Seattle's Best, and other large coffee chains. Pay attention to what is going on behind the counter. When the employee is left with a coffee order that is either wrong or abandoned by the customer, ask if you can have it. Otherwise, they would just throw it away.
-
Step 7
Shoney’s and McDonald's Restaurants offers free coffee for senior citizens. See my articles in the sidebar for more ways to get other free items.
