How to Make a Delicious Pastrami Reuben Sandwich On Rye

Things You'll Need

• Slice pastrami
• rye bread
• sour kraut
• thousand island
• swiss
• butter
• non stick pan

Instructions

1. Heat non stick pan on med heat with a tab of oil. Generally number 5 on an electric stove.

2. Genorously butter one side of two pieces of rye bread. You can choose dark rye if you wish.

3. Place rye bread butter side down into pan and spread thousand onto one piece evenly.

4. Place pastrami on the piece you put thousand island. Place sour kraut on other piece of bread. (you can put mustard under kraut if you wish)

5. After the bread is nicely brown from grilling flip both pieces so pastrami and sour kraut are grilling on the pan.

6. When the kraut and pastrami are very hot flip the bread back and place sliced swiss cheese directly on the pastrami. Wait for cheese to melt thoroughly. If you have to cover the pan with a lid.

7. Put sandwich together, serve hot and enjoy.
