Colored Contact Lens

Freshlook colored contact lens are so much fun! They're a hugely popular brand, too. Find out how to choose the color of lens that's right for you!

Difficulty: Easy
Instructions

Things You'll Need:

  • prescription for contact lens
  1. Step 1

See your eye doctor. Even if you do not have a vision problem that needs correcting, you must have a prescription to get any brand of color contact lenses. It won't hurt to get that eye checkup you've been putting off, at any rate!

  2. Step 2

Decide if you want to enhance your natural eye color or go for a completely different look. Freshlook colored contact lens allow you to completely change your eye color, so the sky is the limit!

  3. Step 3

Choose a color that will not clash with your current wardrobe, unless you don't mind not wearing some outfits that previously looked good. It won't be a fresh look if you suddenly look uncoordinated.

  4. Step 4

Consider your skin tone. If you are going for a natural look, dark brown contact lenses will not look natural with light skin. Light green will not look natural with dark brown skin.

  5. Step 5

If you are female, purchase make-up to compliment the color contact lenses you choose. Chances are, your old make-up is either going to clash or just not be as attractive as complementary colors would be.

Tips & Warnings
  • Think about getting several different colors of colored contact lens to see which one gives you the look you are going for.
  • Never share colored contact lens with friends. Eye infections can cause blindness.

on 11/20/2008 I used to wear Freshlooks in green a few years ago for something different. It made my light hazel eyes much more intense. It was fun! Great tips for choosing Freshlook contacts, especially the part about considering your skin tone.
