Make a Hot Egg Breakfast Sandwich in 2 minutes

Make a hot egg breakfast sandwich in about 2 minutes. Have a hot delicious breakfast even when you're in a hurry!

Difficulty: Easy
Instructions

Things You'll Need:

  • small bowl
  • a fork
  • 1 egg
  • 2 piece toast or sliced bagel
  • 1 slice of cheese
  • a toaster
  • a microwave
  1. Step 1

Crack the egg into the small bowl, add about a teaspoon of water. Use the fork to beat the egg fairly thoroughly.

  2. Step 2

Put the bowl in the microwave and cook the egg between 1min 15seconds and 1min 30seconds. Time will vary a little bit, but the egg is done when it has puffed up and there is no liquid egg remaining.

  3. Step 3

As soon as you put the egg in the microwave to cook, put the sliced bagel or toast into the toaster. It should be done approximately the same time that the egg is done.

  4. Step 4

Place the slice of cheese on the bottom half of the bagel or toast, stack the cooked egg on top, and place the upper half of the bagel/toast on it.

  5. Step 5

And there you have it. A hot egg breakfast sandwich with cheese in about 2 minutes.

Tips & Warnings
  • If you make hashbrowns they also go well on the sandwich
  • Sliced ham or turkey also makes an excellent topping.. just throw it in the microwave for about 20 seconds and put on top of the egg.
  • Be careful when you take the egg from the microwave, it will be extremely hot!
