If you have a mini fondue pot, this is a PERFECT fondue mix to serve to your guests. I recommend serving it with toasted sourdough bread. Your guests will go GAGA over this!

Difficulty: Moderately Easy
Instructions

Things You'll Need:

  • 1 clove garlic minced
  • 1 can crabmeat (cartilage removed)
  • 1 small can artichokes, drained
  • 1 package cream cheese
  • 1/4 cup grated parmesan cheese
  • 1/2 cup half and half, or cream
  • salt and pepper to taste
  1. Step 1

First, after mincing the garlic saute in a pan until golden brown. Add artichokes, crab meat and salt and pepper. Saute on low heat to gently mix the flavors. For an extra gourmet flavor, used roasted garlic. See link below for instructions on making your own roasted garlic.

  2. Step 2

At the same time, in a fondue pot or a stove pot, melt the cream cheese, parmesan cheese with half and half (or cream) on low heat.

  3. Step 3

Slightly toast buttered sourdough bread and dice up into cubes or dipping sticks. You can also use toasted pita bread.

  4. Step 4

Mix the crab/artichoke mix in with the cheese mix and evenly mix. Be sure to taste before serving to your guests and refrain from not sharing it with them. Enjoy!

  5. Step 5
