Are you tired of wielding that awkward snow shovel, heaving heavy load after load over your shoulder, well consider an electric snows shovel.

Difficulty: Moderately Easy
Instructions

Things You'll Need:

  • 1 grounded electrical socket
  • 1 electric snow shovel
  • Snow
  1. Step 1

Get rid of that annoying snow shovel with the crooked handle for better back handling, and try an electric snow shovel. Much easier to use, and much lighter to handle than a snow blower, this handy gadget is perfect for any home. Great for clearing driveways and walkways, simply follow the next few easy steps and you will be ready to get rid of the dreaded snow shovel.

  2. Step 2

Plug in your electric snow shovel to a grounded electrical socket, making sure that the socket is far enough off the ground so as not to come in contact with any wet snow.

  3. Step 3

Place the shovel end of the unit on the ground, similarly to the way you would use a snow blower, with the bucket side facing forward.

  4. Step 4

With the electric snow shovel running, steadily push forward, slowly enough to allow the snow to be thrown by the shovel, making sure to face the unit in the direction you want the snow to go.

  5. Step 5

Continue the process, as you would a regular snow shovel, except you don't have to do all the heavy lifting and throwing of that wet, heavy laden snow.

  6. Step 6

As you will see after using your electric snow shovel, your home will be rid of unwanted snow, and your back and arms will not ache nearly so much the next morning.

Tips & Warnings
  • Could cause electrical shock, if not ground properly or socket comes in contact with liquid, such as snow or water.
  • Never point the direction of thrown snow toward people, as it may throw up rocks as well.

on 2/7/2009 Didn't know such a thing existed! Seems more manageable than a thrower.
