How to Make a Chocolate Milkshake

Nothing tastes as good as an old-fashioned chocolate milkshake. Serve in fountain glasses and top with whipped cream and a cherry for the grandest effect. This recipe makes one shake.

Instructions

Things You'll Need:

  • 1 c. ice cold milk
  • 4 scoops vanilla ice cream
  • 3 tbsp. chocolate syrups
  • blenders
  • drinking straws
  • 1 tbsp. vanilla extract
  • tall glasses

  • 1 c. ice cold milk
  • 1 tbsp. vanilla extract
  • 4 scoops vanilla ice cream
  • 3 tbsp. chocolate syrups
  1. Step 1

    Place ice cream, milk, chocolate syrup and vanilla in a blender.

  2. Step 2

    Cover and blend on High until ingredients are well-combined and the shake is the desired thickness.

  3. Step 3

    Pour into a tall glass and enjoy.

Tips & Warnings
  • If you want to cut calories, use low-fat ice cream and skim milk.
  • To make your shake more chocolatey, use chocolate ice cream.
