Step 1
CoffeeConsider what you want your gourmet coffee gift basket to hold. Is your recipient a coffee enthusiast who loves to try new blends, but doesn't care of the "extras" like coffee mints and chocolate coffee stirrers? When this is the case, look for a gourmet coffee sampler basket.
-
Step 2
Lots of coffee!Consider the quality and brand of coffee in the gourmet coffee baskets you're looking at or considering. Make sure they are great coffees as these are the cornerstone of the basket.
-
Step 3
Coffee mugMake sure the mug is attractive, as it is often at the center of the basket. Mugs that are sturdy and of good quality lend a classy air to the gourmet coffee gift basket; seasonal mugs that are not tasteful can make it look cheesy.
-
Step 4
Coffee SamplerLook at the overall appearance of the gourmet coffee gift basket. Is it pleasing to the eye? Does it look full? Does it beg to be opened and enjoyed? If yes ... your recipient will be well pleased with your thoughtful coffee-themed gift basket.

on 3/24/2009 What is the best place to go for a mail order gift basket? One site that I stumbled across that impressed me very much was http://www.basketsbeautifulgifts.com. Is there anyone that has any experience with them, and if so, what products did you get from them? I see that they have different spa baskets and meat baskets and others. They seem to be reputable enough. I was just wondering how flexible it would be to get a custom gift basket. If anyone has any experience working with them, please let me know.
