Make Your Bath More Relaxing

Take some stress off of the day by taking a nice relaxing bath. Incorporate some of these ideas to make your bath more enjoyable and relaxing.

Difficulty: Easy
Instructions

Things You'll Need:

  • Bath Salts
  • Your favorite scent of bubble bath
  • Shower gel
  • Candles
  • Shower cap
  • Loofah Sponge
  1. Step 1

Buy a container of bath salts. Add the bath salts to your bath while the water is still running and filling up in the bath tub. This will help make your bath more relaxing.

  2. Step 2

Find a great smelling bubble bath scent. Look on the container of the bubble bath and add the suggested amount to your bath. You do not have to spend a lot of money. Places like Target and Walmart have affordable, high quality bubble bath.

  3. Step 3

Place candles around your bath. For extra relaxation use aromotherapy candles. I suggest lavender. The scent helps reduce stress and relax the body and mind.

  4. Step 4

During your bubble bath place shower gel on your loofah. Use the loofah and shower gel to exfoliate and clean your body.

  5. Step 5

Instead of using bath salts or bubble bath, place bath oil in your bath tub. Bath oil can be purchased at your local drug store or Bath and Body Works.

Tips & Warnings
  • Try to avoid taking a lot of hot baths. They are very drying to your skin. Try taking warm baths sometimes to protect your skin's moisture level.
  • Make sure if you use candles they are in a safe and secure location on your bath tub.
