Things You'll Need:
- T tap wrench
- cutting bit
- material in need of thread

Step 1
machine screw and cutting bitSIZING:
Find the correct size cutting bit that will match the thread count and size of the screw. Also find one that is long enough to cover the length of the screw. -
Step 2
nosecapATTACHING BIT TO WRENCH:
Unscrew the nosecap enough so that the collet fingers (part that holds the bit in pace) will open enough that you are able to slide the cutting bit into place. Tighten the nosecap until the cutting bit is securely in place. -
Step 3
cutting bit making a thread in plasticCUTTING:
Insert cutting bit into the desired hole and set the ratchet mechanism to turn either clockwise or counter clockwise. continue to turn the T wrench in the same direction until the cutting bit comes out the other side of the hole. -
Step 4
REMOVE TOOL:
After the cutting bit has made the desired amount of thread. Reverse the direction of the ratchet mechanism and continue to turn until the cutting bit is completely removed from the hole. -
Step 5
machine screw inserted into newly threaded holeFINISHED:
A screw can now be secured into the hole.
