My article explains in simple terms how to write an effective written communication.

Difficulty: Moderately Easy
Instructions

Things You'll Need:

  • Paper and pen
  1. Step 1

One of the best way to communicate is through writing, oftentimes its the only way to get a message across. An accurate and well-understood written communication allows the reader, or audience to easily interpret the information as it flow logically, ensuring that you are making your points effectively.

  2. Step 2

The type of qualities that I personally include in my writing is checking it thoroughly when it is completed. I also use the spell-check and grammar that comes with the computer to proofread my writing. If you do not own a computer, keep a dictionary or thesaurus handy.

  3. Step 3

To incorporate additional effective elements throughout your written communication, you need to put in practice making sure the information is clear and concise. In addition to that, some examples are: keeping the sentences short, avoiding slang words, and using cliches with caution, therefore, you save the reader from wasting time with unnecessary words or phrases. In using these methods, you replace facts where needed and avoid information that is not relevant to the reader, thus making your written communication more effective.

Tips & Warnings
  • Do not PLAGIARIZE your written communication! Keep it original! Do not take/steal information from other source! Use your OWN HEAD!
