How to Make a Delicious Low Fat, Low Calorie Ham Muffin

Breakfast is the most important meal of the day---but if you are trying to diet, it can also be the most difficult. Here is a breakfast idea that is quick, easy and portable, as well as low in calories and fat grams.

Instructions

Things You'll Need:

  • English muffin Fat-free American cheese Low-fat ham (97 to 98 percent fat-free) Spray butter
  1. Step 1

    Cut an English muffin in half. Toast both halves. Spray both sides lightly with butter.

  2. Step 2

    Put four to six pieces of ham on the bottom half.

  3. Step 3

    Lay a slice of fat-free American cheese on top of the ham.

  4. Step 4

    Replace the top half of the muffin.

  5. Step 5

    Put the breakfast sandwich in the microwave for about 30 seconds to warm the ham and melt the cheese.

Tips & Warnings
  • Add some pepper or garlic salt for extra flavor.
