Things You'll Need:
- knitting needles size 10 or larger.
- two balls of eyelash yarn (I prefer Fun Fur by Lion Brand Yarn)
- a plastic yarn needle
- scissors
-
Step 1
Using your number 10 knitting needles, cast on 15 stitches, leaving at least five inches of waste at the beginning to weave in later.
-
Step 2
Knit every stitch. Repeat this until your scarf measures around four feet long, or feels comfortable to you, or you run out of yarn.
-
Step 3
Bind off all stitches. Weave in your ends with the plastic needle. Trim off any excess yarn ends. This yarn does not lend itself very well to making fringe, but if you choose a different yarn, you may want to add fringe.
-
Step 4
Enjoy your new scarf! (Or sell them at the office, or give them to your friends for Christmas. I've sold mine for between $5 and $15 dollars, and have seen them for sale for much more than that.)
