This article will explain how to make the best bbq sauce you ever put in your mouth!

Difficulty: Easy
Instructions

Things You'll Need:

  • brown sugar or white sugar which ever you prefer
  • ketchup
  • allegro marinade (found with the steak sauce in the grocery store)
  • salt
  • pepper
  • red pepper
  • apple cider vinegar
  • beer of your choice
  1. Step 1

To start I always get out all of my ingredients. It makes the whole process much easier! In this recipe I do not use exact amounts, it is pretty much to taste. Start with a small sauce pan. I cover the bottom of the sauce pan with the allegro marinade. Probably about 1/4 - 1/2 cup.

  2. Step 2

Add about a cup of vinegar, about a 1/2 cup of ketchup (more or less depending on how thick you would like it), A cup of sugar (more or less depending on how sweet you like it), A dash or two of salt, a dash or two of pepper. Now add the red pepper, how ever much you want, but remember the more you add the hotter it will be. Also, red pepper gets hotter the longer it sits. So if you make your bbq sauce and then put left overs in the fridge, it will be hotter when you get it back out.

  3. Step 3

Stir all the ingredients together. A wisk works well. I let it come to a boil and then simmer for about 5-10 minutes. However long you want. This is an easy sauce to make and very forgiving. If it doesn't taste like you want it just add a little more of one of the ingredients to get it just right.
