Before you check out of any online shopping site, be sure to search for coupon codes. Simply type the name of the retailer followed by coupon codes (LLBean coupon codes). This search should take you to sites such as couponmountain.com and couponcabin.com, etc. You can do the same to find free shipping codes. You can usually save between 10-25% on your purchase!

If you are military (active, reserve, retired, or a family member) always ask retailers for if they offer a military discount. You would be surprised how many will give you a 10% discount! (see article in the Resource section below).
