Purchase or search your closet for a scarf. This scarf needs to be made of silk or satin type material.

Look for a scarf in a longer length. Long rectangular scarves work well as hair accessories.

Gently pull your hair back in preparation to tie the scarf. If you hair is short, secure it with ouch less hair bands.

If your scarf is rectangular, fold the scarf once horizontally. Keep folding until you reach your desired thickness.

If your scarf is a square, fold the scarf into a triangle. Bring the pointed edge in towards the flat edge of the scarf. Gently fold over to reach your desired thickness.

Place the scarf around your hair line. Tie the back of the scarf at the base of your neck. You may need to knot twice. You can leave your hair secured in the hair band. If you prefer a different look take out the ouch less hair band and gently fluff your hair. This style works well for all hair types.
