Black Friday can be stressful, exhilarating and downright exhausting. You're on your feet for long hours fighting crowds, and in some cases going store to store as you do it. To help make the most of your experience, consider dressing in a way that can make shopping on Black Friday more bearable. There are certain ways to dress that can help you not only get around easily but help you be more comfortable as well.

Difficulty: Easy
Instructions
  1. Step 1

Wear comfortable sneakers on Black Friday. While it may be tempting to wear another type of shoe, that's not such a great idea. If you wear ballet flats, people can easily squash your feet. Wearing heels may not help you to get around as quickly as flats, and flip flops can be easy to trip in, especially if someone steps on the back of them while you're still walking. Sneakers are easy to walk in, are comfortable and can help you get around quickly.

  2. Step 2

Opt for clothes you can easily slip on and off. If you are trying items on, the last thing you want to do is take any longer in the crowded dressing rooms then necessary. Not only could that be irritating to you, but also to the other shoppers who just want to get in and out of there quickly as well. Consider wearing drawstring pants and a T-shirt, as opposed to a button-down blouse and jeans.

  3. Step 3

Leave your jacket at home instead of taking it with you. There is probably going to be a lot of adrenaline coursing through your veins on Black Friday. Also, it may be quite warm, thanks to the crowds. You probably won't be wearing your coat, making it just another thing for you to carry around, in addition to all of the bags.

  4. Step 4

Avoid using a bulky purse on Black Friday. Not only will it be more difficult to carry around with all of your bags, but it may end up hitting several other people around you, considering how crowded the stores are. You may be better off taking a smaller purse with only the basic items in it.

Tips & Warnings
  • Consider wearing seamless underwear if you are going to try on items. Also, consider wearing white underwearm as it won't be able to see be seen through most colors and fabrics. You can see exactly how the outfit would look without all of the lines in the way and colored underwear showing through the clothes.
