If you're trying to get pregnant, you want to know that your swimmers are abundant and in top shape. Here are a few guidelines to follow to naturally increase your sperm count.

Difficulty: Moderate
Instructions
  1. Step 1

AVOID ALCOHOL & DRUGS - There are many studies that show alcohol and recreational drugs can harm the quality and quantity of your sperm. Men are advised to keep their alcohol consumption down to 5 servings of alcohol per week and to avoid any and all recreational drugs. A serving of alcohol is considered to be either one bottle/can of beer, one shot of hard liquor or one glass of wine. To make super swimmers, avoid alcohol completely.

  2. Step 2

SWITCH TO BOXERS - If you're a brief man, you'll want to switch to boxers and skip the tight jeans. Tight pants and/or underwear create a sweaty hot environment that can kill sperm and negatively impact mobility.

  3. Step 3

SKIP THE SAUNA - For the same reasons that you don't want to wear briefs. HEAT = LOW SPERM COUNT
Avoid taking hot baths as well.

  4. Step 4

EXERCISE & EAT RIGHT - I know we hear this one all the time. There are several reasons why exercising and eating right can help your sperm count. Exercise helps to relieve stress and increase blood circulation. Regular exercise can also help to maintain a normal body weight. Studies have shown that excess weight can cause hormonal imbalances that reduce sperm counts. Excess fat in your lower abdomen area can also create more heat.

  5. Step 5

EJACULATE LESS - Your sperm count decreases, the more you ejaculate. It's recommended to wait 3 or 4 days between ejaculations.

Tips & Warnings
  • It takes three months for your body to create sperm.
  • Sperm counts are normally at their highest in the mornings.
  • Ask your doctor for more tips.
