Step 1
Take a quick shower with warm water some time before you can go to bed.

If your bed room has bright lights turn them off and put the dim lights on (before an hour or more of your bed time)

Try to put away your cell phones unless it is an urgent call.

Reduce any kind of noise level in the home.

Do not sleep hungry. If you had dinner early at least have a small cup of warm milk before you go to bed.

Try to read a book, anything which interests you. It is not very good to watch TV until you fall a sleep.

Put very light music in your room if you are a music fan.

Step 8
Try to make a list of “to-do’s” and stick it on your fridge or work place, that way your mind will not ponder over the chores you need to do for tomorrow.

Step 9
Do not stress your self for not being able to sleep. Incase if you cannot sleep, get up from the bed instead of turning and tossing and do something constructive, in that way you will not be thinking why you are not able to sleep.
