  • Small can tuna
  • Capers
  • Lettuce, romaine or other type, shredded
  • Raw spinach or other dark, leafy green, chopped
  • Onion, minced
  • Celery, dice
  • Cooked egg white or whole egg, chopped
  • Prepared mustard
  • Olive oil
  • Fresh tomatoes
  • Mixing bowl
  • Mixing spoon
  • Salad bowl

Instructions

      Mix together a small can of tuna, capers, minced onion, a chopped hard-cooked egg, celery, mustard, and olive oil in a mixing bowl. Use only the white if that is what your dietary regimen calls for. Adjust ingredient amounts to your taste.

      Make a bed of shredded lettuce and finely chopped dark-green leafy vegetables in a salad bowl.
