How to Create Baby Shower Gift Baskets

Things You'll Need:

• Big Basket, pref. Pink or Blue
• baby picture frame
• Baby bottle
• Hair brush
• comb
• ribbions and bows
• baby wash cloths
• pacifier
• rattle
• baby receiving blanket
• sippie cup
• teether
• oil
• powder
• neosporin
• onesies
• Teddy Bear
• cellophane
• Bows
• ribbon
• present for the parents

1. Open up the receiving blanket and use it to line the bottom of the basket and drape over the sides of the basket. Fill the basket 1/2 way with the 2-4 parent magazines the mother and father can read in the hospital.Starting with the Teddy bear, add each of the items and build around the teddy. Make sure the teddy is the highest item in the middle.
   There are places in the mall that will also make a personalized Teddy for the baby, If you know the baby's name.

2. Save the smaller items last for the filler.
   Coordinate everything for the baby that is the mothers theme. Such as Pink or Blue, winnie or care bear,.etc...Don't forget a present for the mother and father, such as a gift certificate to dinner..

3. Wrap the gift in cellophane you can buy at a craft store. Gather it at the top and add a Big Bow. Add another rattle dangling from the bow.

Tips & Warnings

• If you don't want to put magazines in the bottom of the basket, use baby newborn diapers or baby towels.
