Step 1
Don't fret about filling every space in your living environment with some top dollar decoration. Simple ribbons curled will work for you! Take the extra ribbon you've used from your Christmas wrapping and hang it in various places around your house. Curl is and watch as your place begins to look mighty festive!
-
Step 2
Create your own confetti out of simple, cheap papers you have around the house. This includes newspapers, comics, construction paper, printing paper... Whatever you can find! Get to cutting! If you want your confetti to sparkle more just cut up some tin foil or add glitter! You'll be surprised at how great it comes out!
-
Step 3
Go out and buy a package of balloons. You can find a pack for about a dollar at any dollar or party store. Blow up the balloons and place them in the corners of your house.
-
Step 4
To add more of a swing in things, fill the balloons with the confetti you made above by using a funnel. Blow them up and then pop them with the clock strikes midnight!
-
Step 5
Don't go out and buy streamers. Make your own paper chains out of your left over construction paper!
-
Step 6
Make your own party hats out of construction paper and string.
-
Step 7
You can even hang sparkling decorations from the ceiling if you wish by cutting out various shapes and gluing glitter to them. Attach them with string and watch as they glitter throughout the night!
