Everybody knows Christmas is all about sweet treats. Kids will absolutely love whipping up some Reindeer Droppings this holiday season to enjoy with family and friends. These delicious chocolate covered marshmallows with the silly name will not only feed your kids' sweet tooth, but are sure to keep the giggles coming and coming. Kids go crazy over sweet eats with “gross” names! Follow this easy recipe to be on your way to making your own reindeer droppings.

Difficulty: Moderately Easy
Instructions

Things You'll Need:

  • A Bag of Large Marshmallows
  • Melting Chocolate
  • Wax Paper
  • Tongs
  • Cookie Sheet
  • Sprinkles (Optional)
  1. Step 1

    Freeze marshmallows until firm.

  2. Step 2

    Line cookie sheet with wax paper.

  3. Step 3

    Once marshmallows are frozen, melt chocolate per package instructions.

  4. Step 4

    Using the tongs, dip marshmallow in chocolate.

  5. Step 5

    Once completely covered with chocolate, shake off any excess chocolate and place on wax paper-lined cookie sheet.

  6. Step 6

    If desired, shake a few sprinkles onto the marshmallow.

  7. Step 7

    Repeat steps four through seven until there is no more chocolate left.

  8. Step 8

    Place chocolate covered marshmallows in refrigerator until firm.

  9. Step 9

    Store in an airtight container.

Tips & Warnings
  • Give some Reindeer Droppings to friends and family as a gift! Just wrap up a few of your sweet treats in a Ziploc baggy and attach a whimsical card. For example: “Rudolph and the gang wanted to share some sweet Reindeer Droppings with you,” or “I went to the North Pole and brought back some sweet Reindeer Droppings specially made in Santa’s kitchen.”
