Instructions

    • 1

Decide on the rotation that you need on your nozzle head. Look at how the sprinkler head you are replacing is set for guidance. The sprinkler head replacement is automatically preset at 180 degrees. Adjust the head replacement with your palm. Push down to rotate the nozzle turret counterclockwise to the left until it stops. Rotate the nozzle clockwise to the right.

    • 2

Insert the orbit key into the adjustment socket and turn the key clockwise. If you would like to have the head sprinkle 45 degrees turn the key one half turn, for 90 degrees turn the key one full turn, and so on.

    • 3

Remove the old sprinkle head. It will screw out of it's riser relatively smoothly.

    • 4

Screw the new sprinkler head into the existing riser until you can no longer thread it through.

    • 5

Orient the arrow on the top of the the cap so that it is pointing to the right stop. You will do this by turning the the sprinkler head counterclockwise on the riser. This will ensure that once the sprinkler is running it will work on the only the area of land that you want it to work on and not over spray onto your sidewalk.

Tips & Warnings

  • Inspect the old hunter sprinkler head. See if it is just clogged or if it is actually broken before replacing it.

  • If you have several heads not working at once contact a professional.
