Things You'll Need:
- Cardstock
- Patterned paper
- eyelets
- ribbon
- picture of your kid with one of his favorite things.
- Microsoft Word (optional)
- Markers
- A list of your kid's favorite things
-
Step 1
Start by writing down in Microsoft Word (you can always just use a marker and write it down) your kid's favorite things... I wrote 6 things, the age number (2), also "My favorite things at...", "I love you so much" you can also write your kid's name.
-
Step 2
After doing that, print it out. I use an easy scrapbooking technique called paper tearing. When tearing cardstock, hold the the larger piece in your "weak" hand. Tear towards your body with your dominant hand. Keep your hands close together on the paper to give yourself more control of the tear.
-
Step 3
To give it more drama I use brown eyeshadow to color those fuzzy edges.
-
Step 4
So after this all your text is done. Now is time to trim your picture and the background for it.
-
Step 5
For the tags (with the favorite things) just cut rectangles of different cardstock paper, then glue the each favorite thing on it. Use a hole puncher, add ribbon to it. Then glue it on the biggest paper.
